A response to the prompt from Emily: “In honour of your lovely post about Marlee, Josh follows up on what Joey says about Donna and misdirection.” I’m not sure if this qualifies as NC-17, but it’s certainly the closest I’ve got yet. This could well be the worst thing I’ve ever written, so I’m not going to overthink it. :)

According to the subtitles, it’s Bambi-esque in the article and the earlier conversation regarding Donna. But when Donna says it in this conversation, it’s Bambi-ass. But, idk.
I love them from the foggy bottom of my heart. Earlier on we were discussing the song, Body and Soul. Now Donna is going to give Josh the only thing better than fine muffins and bagels. My ship lives on.

I am in love with them in this episode. Because it goes a step further into understanding their relationship, I guess. I think it explores why she loves Josh, certainly. Even though he’s a little harsh, and mean to her sometimes… I think it’s rooted in his frustration that she wastes her time on people that don’t deserve her, and make her feel like less than she is. And then it ends with him saying that gorgeous little comment. And I die.
